October 1: the box lands
The first case mails October 1 — witness statements, evidence photographs, the coroner's summary, a file on every suspect. The Squad Room opens the same morning: meet the suspects, take your first run at them, find out who gets defensive about what. One box, two detectives: work it across the kitchen table.
- 03
Break them with the paper
Suspects lie, deflect, and get defensive about the wrong things. They don't crack for pressure — they crack when you put a specific document to them. You'll be reading it off the page as you type.
- 04
Close it live
Thursday, October 29, 8 pm Eastern: the first case-closing, live. File your theory beforehand — who, and the page that proves it. The docket is read, the evidence argued out loud, the killer named. Right or wrong, you get a verdict card, and your detective grade carries into next month. Every month after: the last Thursday.

The founding offer
50 seats. $79 a month, locked for life.
A seat is $99 a month. The first 50 founding detectives hold theirs at $79 for as long as they keep it. Every seat is a seat for two: one box, one code, two detectives, one case a month, and a reserved place at the live closing. An escape room runs about $80 for two people and lasts an hour. This lasts a month.
Claim your seat now and it is held for you. The first case mails October 1; your Squad Room code goes live that morning. Cancel anytime, in two clicks.
The first-evening guarantee: crack a suspect your first night, or your first month is on us. Just ask.
Claim a Founding Seat — $79/moQuestions
- When do I get my first case?
- The first case mails October 1 to every founding seat, and your Squad Room code goes live that morning. After kickoff, boxes ship on signup: join by the 27th and that month's case goes out the same day; from the 28th, your first box is the next month's case.
- Do I need the box?
- Yes — the dossier is where the case lives. The Squad Room tells you which documents exist and lets you question the suspects, but they only crack when you put the actual contents to them: the figures, the times, the signature. You solve it with the paper in front of you.
- What happens to old cases?
- They stay open to you. Once a case has been closed live, its full file unlocks in The Squad Room — every document, every transcript, and the recorded case-closing. The archive grows every month you're a member.
- Can two of us share a seat?
- Yes — every seat is built for two. One box, one code, two detectives. Work the dossier across the kitchen table, split the suspects, argue the timeline, and both of you file a theory for the closing. There's nothing extra to buy.
- When is the closing?
- The first is Thursday, October 29, 8 pm Eastern, live. After that, the last Thursday of every month. File your theory beforehand — who did it and the page that proves it — and it goes on the docket. Every closing is recorded, so if you miss the night, the verdict is waiting for you.
- Are these real cases?
- No. Every case is an original, designed in the framework of classic historical investigations — genuinely solvable, with all the evidence connecting. No real victims, families, or investigations are involved.
- How much time does it take?
- As much or as little as you want. The case waits for you, and the live session catches everyone up at the end of the month.
- What if I can't crack it?
- That's what the group and the live closing are for. Plenty of detectives work the case together — and nobody has ever left the session still wondering. A wrong theory gets read at the closing with the rest, and the case was probably designed to make you think it. And if you can't crack a single suspect on your first evening, your first month is on us.
- Can I cancel?
- Anytime, in two clicks. Your founding rate is yours for as long as you keep the seat. Prepaid 3-month, 6-month and annual seats — and gift seats — are coming before the holidays.
